Tuesday:
Sister Vincent, Sister Stewart and I all had to get up at 2:30 am to get on the bus at 3:30. We where all so tired. We then made it to the airport and that's when I called home. We got on the air plane and I did not get to sit next to my companion which was so weird. I felt like part of me was missing. haha we then made it to Atlanta and it was so awesome. There was so many black people and the southern hospitality is amazing down here. We then met up with the elders that where going to Tallahassee with us. They are all so quite. We then took a little jet to get to Tallahassee. I sat next to this big guy and he was spread open like an eagle. I was squished. When we got to Tallahassee we met our mission president and his wife. They are amazing and super chill. President smith all gave us pass out cards and we had to place it before we could get in the car. The first person I went up to was a lady she said to me I believe in Jesus and he is my savior and walked away. haha First rejection!!! I then went to a group of people and gave it away it was awesome. We then loaded up in the cars and went to the mission home. Check the Tallahassee mission blog site. I think sister smith put pictures up. We then had dinner and then had an interview with president.Wednesday:
We got up and got ready and then went to the church to meet our new companions. My new companion's name is sister Barrick she is from New Harmonie Utah. She is very quite. She is nice but she does not say much. I try getting to know her and its kinda like one word answers. I'm working on it. She is a great teacher and I'm trying to focus on the positives. I live In Destin! When I get off my mission I'm defiantly coming back here. It is a tourist spot so we don't have much members in our ward (should be a branch). But the members out here are so amazing. Missionary work is so effective when the members help give referrals.The rest of the days are the same. A lot of people to meet. We are mostly working with less actives. Anyways I miss you all so much I have to go because I'm running out of time on the computer. I will have to write you guys letters. Wish I had more time.
